5 saturday morning cartoons that should be

So, I thought it would be fun (since this place is owned by Rupert Murdoch and all) to throw out a few ideas that I think would make good saturday morning cartoons. Because, well the whole concept seems to have gone to pot and the main reason I've chosen the five I have is mainly because of how much they could appeal to kids and adults alike. So, with out further ado... Here are the five concept I think need a saturday morning cartoon series.

1. The New Mutants ~ I love this comic from the 1980s and think it would make an awesome cartoon. Basically the idea behind the New Mutants is that they're the JV X-Men team. They range in age from 14 - 18 and are just learning to use their powers. Just using the comics books stories would give you atleast a few years worth of stories. Plus you could even use the whole rival school thing with Emma Frost's Hellions.

2. Army of Darkness ~ To me this one is a no brainer. An animated show based on Army of Darkness the only thing better than this one is if you could get Bruse Campbell to do the voice of Ash, himself. Of course the great thing about this is one is that you could make it either a saturday morning cartoon or a prime time animated show and it could still be really freakin' cool.
3. The Green Lantern Corps. ~ Okay so here's the pitch. The guardians of the universe send out rings that harness a person's will power and can manifest from said will power solid objects. This would be so cool. Have Hal Jordan or Guy Gardener as the main character and then have a supporting cast of thousand. You'd never run out of cool stories.

4. The Incredibles ~ WTF! why isn't this one on the air right now?

5. Harry Potter ~ This one is kind of in the same vain as the New Mutants (just a whole lot more popular, lol). Kids going to a special school to learn how to use and control their new found powers. The only major differance between the two is the New Mutants and Harry Potter is in Harry Potter it's about magic instead of being born with super powers (still pretty much the same concept).

Well, ther you have it. My list of cartoons that really need to come and brighten the lousiness of saturday morning cartoons (sans the Littles, of course) and Rupert if you're reading this all I require is a few thousand dollars as a finder's fee and all these Ideas and maybe a few more are yours.
